Yes, absolutely, but taking the core number into account was the only possibility to have the Wii U end up with more CPU power than the Mac mini G4 ;-)

I guess that's why the latest posts centered on the Wii U which has 8 times the RAM and Radeon R600/R700 graphics :-)

Yes, but currently it's still easily available new. I can find it starting at 400 EUR.

Oops. The hardest part was hacking the boot loader.
I suppose CGX should be possible, there's already HD 2000/4000 support.
Not to mention the team's hardware is already there.

MorphOS does not officially support any hacked hardware, so no need to get away from such. Besides, a PS3 with OtherOS feature would not constitute any hacked hardware either.

There are about 2000 used PS3 and about 800 used WiiU gaming consoles currently on eBay alone. Or do you mean new (or rather NOS)?
