    Is there any way to enable the optical output on the PowerMac 11,2 at all? I don't have high hopes but it would be nice.

    cyfm reached out to me the other day, his words were "I might have to look at it again for the PMac11,2 model." So we have hope since he also added support for the PowerMac7,2/7,3 models,the digital output basically worked in parallel to the analog audio out.
