    Hello,

i have bought this joystick for MorphOS 3.19 but the led is off when i connect the USB cable, i have a "? In activity" in state, "Vendor" as class and no attached class.

Any ideas please? Tested on G5

Same problem with another joystick normally compatible...

I have tried with and without hub with power supply.

    Thanks for your help

You can try by deleting (after backup the file) the file poseidon.prefs in Sys:Prefs/env-archive/sys and reboot MorphOS.

Do a Class scan in USB settings. You likely do not have the xbox driver loaded.

    Gamesir recommended steps:
    - re-connect the gamepad
    - try a different cable
    - press and hold home+m for 3s on the gamepad
    - press and hold home+share for 3s on the gamepad

Thanks for the recommended steps :-)

With a JSAUX cable and the recommended steps the LED is ON now but impossible to force device binding to xbox360 class after many try, even a restart of the USB stack.

[EDIT] A strange thing, after a reset of the USB stack , i must always do SHARE + m to have the LED ON.

[EDIT2] "Same problem with another joystick normally compatible..."
Now the other gamecontroller has xbox360 class and work fine... bizarre

Share-M might be forcing an incorrect mode for the xbox driver. Hard to say, I don't have this gamepad. Are you sure it has up-to-date firmware?

I’ll send you a debug version of the driver, but it may take me a couple of days.
