    Hi all.

I have a weird problem on all my systems that use wifi.

Every 2 minutes I get a cpu spike for a second caused by the background task
    background cli [mossys:Net/b43].
Cpu usage spikes to 100% for a second, and then goes back to normal.
But it happens every 2 minutes.
I noticed it, because it causes lag in FPSE when I don't put wifi offline.

Anyone else has got this problem? Or is it normal behaviour.

I tried connecting to another Wifi access point, but this behaviour is the same.

Edit: Forgot to mention that it also happens when I boot from the morphos CD.

This, unfortunately, is normal. Wifi needs to recalculate things periodically and we do all this in software.

Might be a good point for optimizations, at least. ;-)
Probably way down on the todo list, anyway...

Thank you for the explanation, now I understand the problems with my PowerBook and its wifi.
