Hello again,

I have the A1134 iBook G4, which according to the specs here: https://everymac.com/systems/apple/ibook/specs/ibook_g4_1.42_14.html it should have a built-in bluetooth.

Now is it possible to do file transfers and use bluetooth on MorphOS ?

I cannot see any bluetooth related setting, nor icons.

If yes, is there a guide which allows me to make use of bluetooth ?

there is no bluetooth support in MorphOS and there will never be.

Well, does the Powerbook's BT work on Linux?

Linux was only mentioned as a comment to the argument that BT never could happen on MorphOS due to the expensive yearly cost.

I thought you needed a licence to create and sell a bluetooth device: I cannot find anything about writing your own bluetooth stack.

I just installed Lubuntu 14.04 onto my PowerBook A1138 model. At first it didnt seem to work, but after performing the update to 16.04 LTS it does work. I can now search and discover and pair BT devices from Lubuntu.

And then I discovered that my logitech revolution mx BT mouse indeed does work under MorphOS. (thanks to jPV for that information).
Pairing it when running Lubuntu first, but then it did not work in MorphOS. Then switched to OSX and paired the mouse again, and after that it did work under MorphOS directly.
After pairing it in OSX, the BT mouse also works in the graphical boot menu. This means that the BT is enabled and paired even before the OS is loaded, and that probably explains why the mouse will work in MorphOS as well.

It's probably doing it by wrapping the bluetooth input device to something else, i.e. making it look like a USB or PS2 device. MorphOS wouldn't even know it was dealing with BT.

That hidden BT in the AppleOF is news as least as old as the 1st release of MorphOS for the MacMini......

Mapped as USB, but the mouse only supports 3 buttons, so no scroll wheel.

When used with a magic mouse only 2 buttons, no gestures.
