Peg1 + Voodoo3

What is the Voodoo3's default video mode on bootup? I swapped a Voodoo 3 (with S-video out) in place of the Radeon 9000 today and it seems to work great except that my Samsung LCD doesn't detect a video signal until the MorphOS logo appears. I don't see any of the bios messages or the Smartfirmware prompt. Once the OS begins to load though all is normal. This suggests that the video mode it boots up in initially isn't being recognized by my LCD and I've not had the chance to plug a CRT up to it yet.

The good news about the Peg1 + Voodoo3 setup is that it got rid of the timing problems I was having with the Radeon 9000 and I am now able to use the 20GB hard disk without the screen corruption during MorphOS loading. I've not had the chance to try the Seagate Baracuda 40GB drive again yet.

EVERY VGA-compatible card will start in 640x400@72HZ
(VGA-TextMode), and will stay there till the SW tells it otherwise.

Seems like the OF doesn't like your Voodoo.

Could very well be the version of OF my Peg1 is running too...according to the boot splash screen, it's 0.1b28 and if I have the ID string that directly follows that figured out correctly, it is dated July 2002. I asked for info concerning OF revisions for the Peg1 on the beta2 mailing list but have yet to receive any replies. At least it works and allows me to use my larger hard disk.
