Wireless networking 'Ad-Hoc' mode

    I guess it's software related question rather than hardware but anyway:

    Is it supported? Eg. Android tablets can't make such connections and as far as I know it's (lack of) OS feature

    What is your question really? Are you asking if connecting to ad-hoc networks is supported? Are you asking if creating ad-hoc networks other devices could connect to is supported?

    I can connect to my iPad just fine... Then again some ad-hoc connections will quite likely fail. These can be tricky to handle and I don't really have any test hardware.
