I have recently bought a G5 Mac with a Radeon 9600Pro 128MB. Hovever if I go over a resolution of 1152x870x24bit the screen gets distorted. I can se the colours, icons etc. but the screen is messed up so I can not really read what it says. At 1152x870 everything looks fine.

I use a Iiyama ProLite E2607WS so it is not the monitor. Before I try to change my settings more I would like to know if this is a wellknown bug in the graphics driver?

I can upload a picture of the screen a little later if someone is intererested.

    Thank you in advance.

Well, i have also an issue with display on my G5/2.5... I use it with ordinary BenQ 17" LCD with native resolution 1280x1024, and it's okay, but on the Ambient screen, there are some red blinking dots under the title line... don't know, if it's HW or SW problem... and I haven't tried another, than this native resolution...

    Bye, MarK.

I have a 24" LCD connected by DVI to HDMI cable from a 256MB 9650 Pro which refuses to display at 1920x1080 on MorphOS.

Works fine with OSX and Linux.

DCC between TVs and CGX seems to be problematic, so probraly nothing specific to your GFX-card.

If you have any other FullHD monitor you can force the TV into FullHD by copying/renaming the monitor file for the working FullHD.

I only have the one Full HD screen.

Is there any particular one in Storage/Monitors I could try?

    @intuition

All from memory (can check tommorow in detail):
-In "sys:Prefs/Presets/Monitors" you should now have a file named after your TV/monitor.
    -rename it "oldname".old or something
-replace it with a working FullHD file (this has to be renamed to match the orginal's file name)

    http://www.steamdraw.homepage.t-online.de/BENQ_E2220HD

    Should do the trick...

Well I turned on my G5 last night after not using it for a week or so and it no longer boots into MorphOS, it just goes to a grey screen and the fans kick in at full speed. OSX works fine though, so it looks like I'm going to have to boot from CD/USB and figure out what the problem is when I can find a spare half an hour.

Well it turns out my PFS3 System partition had corrupted itself but PFS Doctor sorted it out.

I renamed the monitor driver you gave me and it worked a treat. Thank you very much Kronos!

    Just a small hint/advice:

Once 3.3 gets released (aka the year 2525) you might want to temporaly disable that file to see if the issue has been fixed.
