Hey guys, just started on an incompatability list for the Pegasos-2.
You can find the quick page following this LINK.

Now, I'm going to need your help, as you can see there is only one entry on the list. Bear in mind this is a user-tested list and not an "official" set of tests from bPlan, Genesi, resellers etc. Should those official reports start appearing they will be marked as such. So, start throwing up some replies, let's find out what doesn't work and save our neighbor from some headaches!!

(Big thanks to oGALAXYo for reminding me to get this project kick-started.)

Seeing all the problems people have i must tell, i just went into a local PC-store, bought a 256MB DDR 2700 RAM, plugged in, and it works well. I do not even know what kind of memory chips are on it. What did i do wrong? :-D

These don't work in my Pegasos 2, it's either my Pegasos 2 or the RAM. So by any means avoid them and get modules from other manufacturers:

    Micron: mt8vddt1664ag-265a1
    2x128mb, single sided

    Infineon: hyb25d128800at9207by
    1x256mb, double sided, cm266/256/3rd, 16x8 pc266

    Lei: 88lshdl0-1pd6
    1x512mb, double sided, 64x64, pc2700, cl2.5

    MCI/MDT DDR 512MB PC400 2Bank 256M Chip (32x8) M512-400-16
Works fine in 2 module (=1GB) configuration.

Oh yes, and my antistatic foam is PINK!

Too bad the Peg1 memory list wasn't updated with my reported RAM.

Okay, the current version of the memory list: Peg2 Memory Page.

Note: This list is not in it's final home yet, so the link address may change in the near future.
