Hi Guys and Gals!

I bought The Secret Of Middle City on the Amiga34 in Neuss :) and would like to play it on my MorpOS machine, but the HollywoodPlayer says that a certain file (CheeZeeBeach.mp3) has an unkown format. (I get a German error message here. Details if needed).

Has anyone experienced similar trouble? - By the way, it runs nicely on my AROS machine (x86). I tried to copy the file over from there which did not help.

Yeah, I know, I could just play it on that AROS machine, but I want *imagine a crying kid here ;)* to play it on my MorphOS machine, too! ;)

I asked the internet "hollywoodplayer file in unkown format" and "Secret Middle City MorphOS error" and other stuff, but it did not come up with a satisfying answer.

Please ask him about the shipping price also, can not be so high for a box ..

Do you have the last Hollywood Player v8.00? and the Hollywood plugins installed in your system?

Hello everybody,

I'm Gianluca, the coder for Middle City.

I'm new to the site since I never had a MorphOS machine to tinker with, but now that the game is finally out in a boxed edition, I decided to subscribe to be eventually helpful for users.

First of all I apologize for what happend with the making of the CD about the missing plug-ins. As you guys and girls saw, I already answered in private but now you know where to reach me also in this site.

Secondly, I really wish to thank you all, and everyone else supported the noble cause of the charity project in memory of Stefano. I will report it to his family, in particular to his brother Andrea.

Finally, I really hope that that PPC notebook project ACube presented at the Amiga34 can soon become reality, so I can finally have a MorphOS machine too.

This would require the MorphOS team to port their OS to this hardware, so these are two ifs actually. There is a dedicated thread here on MorphZone regarding that project, btw.
