No, as Q2 is a horrid piece of garbage.

The game itself is better, but the engine sucks big time.

I'll play ya at Q2, but the goal is still to get a perminant QW server for Morphzone.

I would love to play Q2 online with fellow believers ;) but I'm having some troubles at obtaining a working binary. I do have the full version of Q2, but since it's a pc release, I still need to find a working executable. Tried one version by Frank Wenzel, but it wouldn't work. Can someone help me out? (i'll promise to lose first 10 rounds online ;)),

I would love to WHOOOP up on you guys. I have my PC QII cd..once
you'all get the MOS binary or whatever squared away, I'll dload it,
and then just plain DOMINATE.

Heh ok after trawling through all these posts I've got a
couple of questions :-

1) QII - should I just bite the bullet and buy from *spits*
Hyperion ?

Edit: I don't really despise Hyperion - however as there is
no chance that any token gesture will be made by them to
ensure any of their products work on MOS I am reluctant to
spend money on a product of theirs.

2) Are you guys still organising any games ?

I have heard ppl talking about a MOS native version of QII, with 3D accel and network.

I only have a software 3D version without network.

I can say Hyperion QII runs smooth, specialy with the latest update.

I FINNALLY have a good and fast connection,
so it must be possible now to set up my Quake 2 server
But first i want to know if there are enough ppl
who are interessted for playing every night otherwise
my computer is on 24/7 for nothing...
And how much ppl can play without any frags...

Hi!

I've got the complete Hyperion pack, but don't arrive to install that
stuff directly, and my A4060/ppc/bv is in a box in a garage for now
and I can't have it in order to transfer my installation... :{

So as soon as I know how to make a #]$*'[ clean install with the
cd's, OFF COURSE I'll sign on for playing online with nice Amigan's
and Pegasos's! :)

By the way, I'm really fond on Freespace too, that runs pretty well
on my Peg, (but when I try to connect, just after choosing a
multi-player session, it says something like: "can't see connection
speed" )... so if someone want to play it via web.... ;)
