On my eMac I noticed this, and now that I'm on a Mac Mini (1.5Ghz) instead, I had hoped it would go away, but no such luck.

The game plays fine, but the intro movie always begins to stutter right after the Cleric/Mage kills the Skeleton warrior.

Last I asked about this on my eMac, no one else seemed to be having this problem. So any idea why I'm still having it on new hardware? I used the installer this time too for the note.

Somewhat tangential, but I was poking around ebay for a copy of the game to play on MOS. Does it matter if it's the "game of the year" version or the regular one ?

"The original Return to Castle Wolfenstein release, as well as the Special Edition and Platinum Edition releases of Return to Castle Wolfenstein are supported by the installer"

Derringer: Alright, cool, at least I'm not the only one. And yes, the game itself does run like a champ. The video must be a coding issue I'd presume.

I searced the net. similar problem existed with ecs boards. (k7s5a, and similar boards with uses the same audio hw as ecs)

    pc side the solution was:

    -new driver
    or
    -new soud card
    or
-turn off hardware accelerating for audion in dxdiag.
