And in addition the Heretic II port by Hyperion using the Quake II engine runs smoothly as well.

QII refuses to install here: the stupid installer doesnt work with my size HD. Because it is a big HD installer wraps the size and quake thinks i have just 512mn space free and says it needs 550.

sigh. tried 3 installers, they all do the same (including NG). So I dont get to play QII.

How did you get it to install? It locks up here right after I put in the PC disk :-?

Install it by hand without the installer.
Simply copy all needed files to the desired destination.

    very high framerate-

ok right whatever you need to know what frame rate is first . I can say with all certainty its not doing true 15 frames per second or faster. Still im glad your having fun. If this isnt trouble, dam redifne trouble now too.no trouble means not having to do what you did. :-)

About QUAKE2, there is a MOS version, i have
it, but it doesn't support network/multiplayer
    and it's software 3d :(

Then there is a amiga exe warpos i believe,
but it doesn't work on my peggy, and then
there's hyperions port, wich works perfectly :)))

I did need to manualy copy the pc cdrom baseq2
    drawer to enable multiplayer client/server.

And i quess if you like network multiplayer,
    a paystation won't help much..

    Bye,
    Felix.

tested quake1 for morphos. runs at 26 fps in 800x600.
(and morphosduke 0.3 finally worked for me [works too fast :D])

if you have problems with quake1 run it with -safe
this text is here to confuse you

well its typos oh never mind was talking to my friends at yahoo at the sametime. But still the comment stands its not true real "25 fps" unlees its fields per second on a pegasos. I only jope he is making what I am thinkin he is making . The problem is the sooner done the sooner your ahead of everyone else.
