Edit... I had figured most folks knew what Pico-8 was, sorry. It is a fantasy console for 8bit and folks make games for the platform. They can be played in HTML browsers or exported to various platforms. Here is a link to my demo game I made of 4 levels if you want to see what you experience. thx.

    Original post below...

I thought it would be fun to see if MorphOS and Wayfarer 11 could handle playing a Pico-8 game exported out as HTML but no go.

You see, I am working on a new Pico-8 game and they can be played in most modern browsers. So I exported my game and Wayfarer slowly brings up the main picture of the game but can't handle playing it. Non of the normal Z and X launch and play the game and no sound.

It was worth a try though. Would have been FUN to play my own game on my X5K running MorphOS.

I tried spoofing as Safari and iOS as well but same.

Anyone ever try and get better results?

Not sure if you're expecting any replies here not even having given us any links to follow. Do you expect everyone to know what Pico8 is? I for one have never heard of it.

Anyway, this is most likely an asm.js wrapper and as such is not supported on Big Endian architectures.

Thanks, I should not have assumed folks would know what Pico-8 is. Sorry. I added an edit to my original post with a link to my demo game and added a quick note what Pico-8 is.

    Howdy and Thanks!

I also posted on on Discord and the good news, it actually seemed to load the few games I tried BUT the sound is quite off.

A quick search online appears to note that fake08 based apps (and I think femto-8 is based on it) can have sound issues.

So for me was hit and miss but my own game as example non of the sounds are what they should be. haha. BUT, the game did launch and play so that was nice.

Explosions were binks and binks and other sounds like tin clinks and clonks. Unsure if that is a femto-8 thing that can be adjusted or my personal X5K running MorphOS issue? Sounds from everything else outside of this app seem fine so guessing it is an issue with femto-8 or the port of it.

Thanks though... was cool to try it!

[EDIT] femto-8 is ported (quick port), i've send you an archive on Discord for test.
