If any of you are Nintendo junkies, especially Zelda junkies, then I highly suggest checking out the latest FCEU release!
Upon my request, Kelly has been kind enough to look into FCEU and figure out why the latest rom hack for The Legend of Zelda, titled, Zelda - The Legend of Link, didn't work.

As it turns out, FCEU was lacking MMC5 support which this particular ROM hack was making full use of. Because of this, the game would not load, but now it loads and saves to the virtual battery just fine.

On top of being able to play this UTTERLY amazing rom hack, you "should" now also be able to enjoy other MMC5 dependent games such as Castlevania III, Gemfire, Gunsight, Just Breed, L'Emperuer , Laser Invasion, Metal Slader Glory, Nobunaga's Ambition 2, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2, Uncharted Waters, and everyone's favorite, Barbie!

I discovered an issue where the save ram got corrupted/not saved properly after playing for a bit. I will have to look into the cause. mmc5 was supported by the previous version just not well enough for this game to work. All games are using latest mappers from fceux now so should be better compatibiliy. I will also see if it's possible to get save state working for mmc5 roms.

I had only played, saved once and tried to load before and didn't have an issue, but I'll re-download just in case.

    Thanks again, this is awesome!

Has nothing to do with me.

Grunch points to MorphOSFiles and it seems both servers are out of sync here. I get 1.4 and 1.5 depending on which server Grunch is checking.

Unless V1.6 is not uploaded to MorphOSFile it will not appear in Grunch.

In a real perfect world a developer would maintain his file on his own and makes sure the source is pointing to the up to date archive on a working server.
