Because we have also some new User which never had an Amiga before (and because perhaps some of the Amiga User still don`t know):

Did you know that you could cut and paste text in most apps with

    rcommand c (cut)
    rcommand v (paste)

    and

    Did you know that
you could delete a complete Textline pressing shift delete

(errr.. no.. not the delete Button near the numberblock but the other one.. hell what is it called again? It was not delete, was it?)

    bladerunner..what is rcommand ? button ?

    TIP
I don't know if someone mention it already but if you want to bring a window from back to front you can always double-click with your mouse on the Title-bar of your window instead of that button of the top-right.
..there will be only one left.

    pretty obvious, but why not?

    Did you know...
...That you can move to the beginning or end of text line by pressing shift+left or shift+right?

And it could be added to Bladerunner's tip, that shift+delete deletes all text on the right side of cursor, while shift+backspace (or whatever you call it?) deletes all text on the left side of the cursor...

Sorry, but I have to correct you:

    rcommand x (cut)
    rcommand c (copy)
    rcommand v (paste)

These have to work everywhere :)

And I was thoughting and I've found a couple of Did you know-tips:

    1) ...that you can open a new shell window with the rcommand+n in Ambient?

    2) ...that you can have more than one shells in one window by clicking "New" in a shell window?

    3) ...that if you have more than one shell in one window you can detatch them to different windows by clicking "Detach"?

    4) ...that you can send MUI windows to any public screen by clicking the titlebar popup menu button (if enabled in MUI prefs) and selecting the Jump to screen... menu?

    5) ...that you can iconify any MUI window by clicking the iconify button on the titlebar (if enabled in MUI prefs)?

    6) ...that you can use "embedded menus" (like other OS's) in the MUI window by clicking the titlebar popup menu button (if enabled in MUI prefs) and selecting the "Embedded menus" menu?

    7) ...that you can have "panels", from whitch you can start programs by a simple click?

    8) ...that you can move icons on the panels by dragging them with the middle mouse button?

    9) ...that you can copy a panel's background pattern to an another by dragging it through the two prefs window

    10) ...that you can scroll vertically in IBrowse (and others) by pointing at the vertical scrollbar and scrolling with the mouse wheel?

    11) ...that you can cycle between the points of the cycle gadgets with the mouse wheel?

    12) ...that you can get the small help box (or bubble) immediately by pointing at the target and pressing help button?

    13) ...that you can drop any icons in the file requesters and they will show the directory, what contains it?

    14) ...that you can customize the view of the window borders ("skins") for each MUI screen by System Settings -> ScreenMode -> screen name -> Skin?

    15) ...that you can enable the opaque resize too at System Prefs -> IControl -> Misc?

    16) ...that you can enable the (fully customizable) titlebar clock at System Prefs -> IControl -> Misc?

    17) ...that you have a lot of options for menus (e.g. Sticky and Position dependent menus) at System Prefs -> IControl -> Menus?

Is so many enough? Not? I've got some more ideas, but I'm too tired today -- maybe tomorrow I'll post them... :]

...That you can have default icons for different devices?

For CD0 icon you should create ENVARC:sys/def_CD0disk.info

And remember to make sure it's disk icon

Here I have to "correct" (perhaps add to) your tip:

    rcommand x (cut)
    rcommand c (copy)
    rcommand v (paste)
    rcommand b (inits block marking)

They usually work everywhere, especially within MUI apps.

I use these shortcuts to navigate through textfiles.
(don't know if these work in all apps though)

shift + right --> move cursor to end of line
shift + left --> move to start of line
shift + up --> move one page up
shift + down --> move one page down
ctrl + up --> begin of document
ctrl + down --> end of document
