    Nothing.
OS 3.1 is there so people will ask you why you said OS 3.0.
    :-D

A guy n craigslist.org wants $130 for a powerbook with a melted cpu. He added that it had a cracked case but the crack did not effect the operation of the laptop at all.
    Say what????!!!!!
    Yeah, it still doesn't work.

Rumours have it MorphOS reqires a CPU, hence I would avoid a Powerbook with melted CPU.
Honestly, have a little patience and check out the usual suspects like CL oder ebay. I think it's better to spend a few more bucks and get a flawless one - remember MorphOS has a per machine license. If the device breaks down you will have some trouble (albeit the team seems to issue new licenses rather easily), hence it's better to get a device that is unlikely to break.

Its always risky buying it online, because people will lie about what they are selling.

"worked great 5 years ago, when I last turned it on.. oh yeah, no pictures proving that it works. but im sure it's been quite safe here in my shed"
Amiga 1200 and G4 MDD MOS as my main computers.

    Hi,

I am literally about to sell my PB G4 5,8 1.67 that I have bought from eBay about a month ago. There is absolutely nothing wrong as far as I know, been running it solid since I have bought it. it's just that I wanted to play with MorphOS to bring back my old Amiga days, but I am neither an Apple fanboy or have the patience to learn either of the OS.

When I bought the laptop, the battery was dead, so a new battery was bought and it has only 2 cycles (maybe 3 now) charge on. The PB is probably as good as it can get as I was very picky about getting a good one. I have also bought a Netgear WG511T as I have read that this is one of the supported wifi card.

It comes with other bits and bobs, plus the original PB box.

I only want what I have paid for, unfortunately, it wasn't cheap to get a nice one on eBay, so asking price is £250 + courier (I live in UK) - paid £231 for PB, £15 for new battery & £6 for Netgear card, so asking price is slightly less than what I have paid.

I have also posted this on http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?t=33226 with photos if interested. I'll porbably end up putting it back on eBay if not sold.
