Our selling price will be around £549

The question is, would any UK users want to buy such a system - is there a market?

Hi Amigakit.

I'm not sure if you have an advertisment in Total Amiga Mag offering peg systems, but may I suggest that you chat to Robert and get one sorted ASAP if you dont? A nice half or full page ad in TAM would do wonders for selling complete Peg systems (especially if it's placed right next to my monthly articles!!! :)

Btw - you need to make clear if the processor is a G3 or G4. I also think that 80GB might be a bit small - unless it only has MOS on it. Will you have a pre-installed MOS1.4.5 AND one or other linux variety on the machine? If so 80GB might be classified as a tad small.

Also, a picture of the case, keyboard and mouse would be nice - nothing too big I hope, the Peg is a neat small system and as such a small, neat case should be (IMO) used.

£549 seems like a good price to me though. Does that include shiping (Im guessing not).

The question is....do people who want an AmigaOne, but cant get one think it's a good price, and would pay it...!????

We have 3 page advert already in TAM this month. The system is a PowerPC G4 1Ghz

Hmm, a 200GB would add an extra £30 to the price and take it to approx £579

The system would be pre-installed.

Insured shipping would be around £14 within the UK

Now if anyone wants such a system or has suggestions -post here or get in touch.

Well, it's quite a good offer. It would be good (maybe essential?) to have some linux flavours installed or bundled with the package.

As bifford pointed out: what's the market? And how do you reach them?

amigakit, I think you could also target the linux community, a PPC based linux system will be quite interesting for the linux folks.
