It appears there's still something wrong with current Wayfarer builds, looks like it crept in in 3.3. I advise everyone to please roll back to Wayfarer 3.2 for the time being.

The ebay message images are not clickable in Safari 15.4 on macOS as well. Best report it to ebay as it's clearly not something I should be fixing.

Feel free to forward this to them in a support request. Those are the errors that WebKit spews out when clicking on images.

This is probably more of a question for web developers working at Google, etc.

In general, there are tens of millions of devices running KaiOS so the user base is large enough to warrant some attention especially if you are targeting users in Asia.

Also, KaiOS does include an official Youtube "app" (fullscreen website) by default but not all KaiOS devices support over-the-air software updates.

It is rather likely that there is a legal agreement between the KaiOS owners and Google that grants KaiOS the right to use YouTube branding but also ensures Google do not break YouTube compatibility with KaiOS devices for a certain time period.

The same applies to Facebook, which is included as a standard "app" (fullscreen website) on KaiOS phones as well.

Finally, since KaiOS feature phones cater to low-end market segments, you cannot expect or demand that users pay to upgrade their devices since they might lack the funds to do so. You either test that your online service works on their devices, which might not receive software updates, or you lose them as users.

. . . but I still cannot access the ebay message images that only load up as thumbnails. I can see it is a JavaScript issue, as that is in the message field in the bottom of the GUI, but it never triggers the images to load up from where they are kept on ebay's servers, which should open into a larger black bordered window, overlaid on the message window - is this likely to get fixed?

The reason I get so frustrated by this issue is that I have to get out of mothballs my Windows system to view the images, which is very irritating, as I dislike Windows, as it is so sluggish to do almost everything by comparison.

- HTTP HEAD requests to resources would poison the Curl disk cache with 0-byte files, leading to websites failing to load/work correctly
- Minor speed improvements in JavaScriptCore and timing code
- Improved refresh speeds when typing text on websites showing animated contents as you type
- The HLS player will iterate through all streams of the master playlist now if a selected sub playlist fails to play
- Re-worked post-seeking playback restart to avoid auto-start of streams that start playback from non-0 position
- Fixed audio buffer under-run handling
- Invisible video streams fixed not to enable overlay
- Improved invalid certificate error handling UI flows
- Disabled touch events support

@jacad: Found out that only 480p has this problems. With 360p or 720p it works normal and CPU-load is <90% (G5/2,3GHz).

I'm not sure what is happening here! I have two locations, where I use MorphOS - one with cableconnection and the other one with SIMM-Card-Router.
I am now at cableconnection and it seems to be OK (G5/2,3GHz)
The problem was with SIMM-Router on a G5/2,0GHz. Normaly speed of Simm-connection is more than enough (I watched YT 720p without any artefact or else in the past).
Yesterday every YT-video crashed after a few secons (no changeing any prefs). That means: Not Wayfarer itself crashes, but the movie shows only (really wild) artefacts on the screen (like brocken decoding). Audio was OK.

Im back at that location next weekend and can test further - perhaps it's a router-problem (?)...
