Hello, y´m buy the pegasos 2, but no update the firmware and today not running (screen off) in the beginning, the bios boot but today is the screen off, Crash????

I supose this problem is:


If your system is already in a none bootable state, please connect the serial line using the following parameters: 8N1, 115200, Flow control off, Transmit delay 100ms (example settings using TeraTerm)



and input the following command sequence using copy/paste:

ATTENTION: If your terminal program does not allow the setting of a transmit delay, you have to enter the command sequence by hand (to avoid a receive buffer overflow). In this case please input the commands in one row (a0;L;w38806040... and don't use space,CR,LF). After the last command and aprox. 8 seconds of waiting time please reset your system. As the last step you now have to install the update as descriped above.TeraTerm1.jpg

I never tried connecting the pegasos to a pc for the debuging output, so i can't help you here.

I'm so happy that I just had to write it: after exactly three weeks thanks to the world's fastest courrier company I have just finally received my Pegasos II G4. I hope it finally ends my troubles and everything else will be just pure joy

Well, my Peg2/G3 came. Unfortunately, it came between paydays, so there is little I can do ATM.

Well, getting the m/b in-between paydays is just by chance. Well, I looked at the processor card, and saw 750cx or something. So, I'm guessing it's a G3. Not that I'm complaining, of coarse!
Now, I'll be better able to understand the PegII issues, and be better prepared to doctor up the PegII pages here (that are currently hidden).
