I am willing to buy a Pegasos II Mobo with a nice case like silverstonetek one. (SST-LC02 model) to build a hometheater computer.

but before doing the jump, I need to get some informations about morphos's video support :

Is TV out supported for Radeon 9000 Pro graphics board?

Is Divx supported (latest release code 5.1x) ?

If this is the case, which player to use ?

Is 5.1 sound support ?

Is TV record from TV PCI board planned (or, let's dream a second) or supported? (To do Digital VCR...)

Is FW-1394 port supported (and exploited) ?

If most of the answers is Yes, will certainly buy a pegII mobo... I have done an estimated price for my new toy : 1200¤. Quite expensive so i don't want to be disapointed.

For that price I get :

512Mb DDR PC2100
Seagate 80Gb IDE drive
DVD 48x
Silverstone case SST-LC02 (really nice case...)
Logitech wireless keybord and mouse
Radeon 9000 Pro 128Mb DDR TV+DVI+VGA out

Would be (very?) nice for chirstmas. :)

It's not support at this moment, but it should be in the future.

Yes, most of the audio/video codes are supported.
There is two main players: MPlayer (Unix Port) and Frogger.

I don't think so.

The FireWire connectors works but there is not support under MorphOS.
I've test it my self on Linux by booting on the MacOS X with an iPod

I hope TV out will be supported soon

No TV support? Boo. Sad. Hope it will come soon. (a must have for a HTPC Home Theater Personal Computer)

I was not aware about divx support thanks to ffmepg sourceforge project.

No 5.1? I won't die for this. But playing DVD is nicer with the big sound. Hope next major AHI release will support 5.1 channels... (must have)

FW supports is important. FW = DV = NLE software for video. must have for me. I heard about a project of a NLE software for morphos. What is the status?

Is there a projet like MPlayer for linux ? A nice GUI for HTPC would be nice. Is Frogger skinable? (Seems to be the best player around)

There is a good apps to develop. There is no killer apps for morphos right now I guess. Linux is still crappy and windows XP media center is a MS product. Nice but still a MS product.

Anyone willing to develop a such app?
