That TEST version seems to be working much better. At least the import of vector clipart works as it should, and the text shows up in the GUI.
The text even seems to render a bit quicker than before, which is also an improvement, as far as I am concerned.
I noticed that when you rotate an image/vector clipart that when you return to sizing that the gadgets remember where they were oriented before the roation process, and do not recognise that they have been moved/rotated so trying to resize the object then becomes a little awkward as you have to remember which way it was oriented when it was originally imported as that is the way you have to resize it, which is often not that convenient as you get to the edge of the page all too soon and run out of being able to resize as you wish, even to 'bleed'/run off the page.
I see the shortcuts are not shown in the menus, but they are still possible/editable through the settings/preferences, but after all this is a Beta program, so, with some trepidation I say this seems to be a better Beta release than many previous ones.
I didn't see any point in sending you a screenshot of nothing on screen, as you requested earlier in this thread, as I didn't see what that would achieve. If you don't see anything on screen, then that is what I said it was doing, so I hope this did not frustrate your request, but I don't see how it would have hepled you solve some of the issues, which this "Test" version seems to have fixed.
