Is anyone using a Voodoo 4500 video card?
    AGP or PCI?
How does it compare to other options?

Also, can a Powermac support a 3.3V video card (or does it require a 1.5v card)?

used it for a while when I still had my peg1. Not a bad option, it's just it lags a bit when 1920x1080 is on compared to the Radeon. You'll also want to disable double/triple buffering as it only has 32mb of vram.

    Thanks.
As I like to experiment, I was considering re-flashing a PC 4500 AGP card with a Mac BIOS and giving it a try.

    According to the PowerMac information boot_wb has gathered, PowerMac3,1 to 3,5 use 3.3 V whereas PowerMac3,6 uses 1.5 V.

    Thanks Andreas,
It is interesting that he quotes the 3,6 AGP slot as 66Mhz (as that would only be 2X speed - the speed earlier Powermacs operate at).

No, AGP is always running at 66 MHz, no matter if x1 or x8 speed. It all depends on the "pumping".
