well, maybe an organized love-fest seems a bit over the top, but I think everyone, myself included, have kind of gotten out of the habit of even trying to communicate with the authors of software. The whole monolithic MS world has gotten folks used to being simply consumers. This is also known as the you take what we feed you syndrome.
I'll admit, a "love fest" is a little campy, but if a few users become more inclined to regularly give feedback, then the Feedback Day actually did some good.
