Yes, HE WANTS YOU! :-o (for the MorphOS RC5-72 team!)

Why does he want you? Read more in the 'ReadMore' section!

MZ: "Captain Pegasos, why do you want us? We don't understand."

CP: "Yes, you know... even a Superhero like me can't do everything by himself, that's is why I want YOU and YOU, YOU and YOU... and YOU!"

Captain Pegasos wildly points to all members of the MorphZone News Team.

MZ: "Ah... oh... but for what do you need us?"

CP: "Hahaha...!!" He roared with a laughter, obviously about us. But he continued: "Don't you know that I found THE concept for measurement to describe 'PegPower'?"

We were frightened, not because we didn't know the concept but about the evil red...err... blue gleam in Captain Pegasos eyes. But then he showed us his secret and we understand.

Yes, he wants YOU! Why he wants you we written down in this document.

only 22,000 so far?? I personally can account for
over 600 within the last 3 weeks... If we all work together we can hit 200,000 in a couple of months... On another note... if we had Altivec support we would get their sooner... :-)

Why is this competition in "news" ? If it is not a joke (but I'm
sure it is), I found it stupid, if it is, then the forum is the
    right place ;-)... Personaly, I don't care about rc5-stuff...

    Hi !

Strange news, but anyway my G3 600 is 100% busy all the time to participate .

Well, the dnetc client is priority -120, I don't even feel it's on.

    Bye

Hey, this is fun. :-D It clearly gives some time to the MOS development team to finish 1.5, and also the ppl out here get some kind of "progress bar", which they can affect themselves, and also doing something useful. So i like the idea. Going to install the client right now! :-D

BTW, what about an Altivec-enabled client right now? I mean, what if only _ONE_ software (in this case the RC5 client) uses Altivec? I remember a few years ago i used OS/2 Warp on peecee, and when Intel came out with MMX, Warp's kernel didn't supported it for a while. Anyway, it was possible to use MMX-enabled software, but only one running at a time. Isn't such a thing possible with MOS/Altivec? :-P

The Altivec optimised core is already present in the MorphOS version, but it requieres MorphOS 1.5 which is not world available.
    Be patient.
Anyway, even without the AltiVec, the G4 is vry capable :-)

    Bye

I prefer OGR-25 project and run it on two computers. I'll switch to
RC5-72 when OGR-25 will be finished.

Actually, my PeCee (Athlon XP 2500) run for OGR25 and my Peg'1 for RC5-72... (for the Amiga RC5 team of course).

OGR-25 will soon be finished so i'll switch all my computers to RC5-72 (or Mersenne if someone port a MorphOs client).

    Moooooh in progress....

PowerPC Amiga OS 105,084 blocks in 13 months

68K Amiga OS 52,069 blocks in 13 months

PowerPC MorphOS 25,885 blocks in just 1 month

I'm curious how these stats will look like in 1-2 months. (hopefully I haven't made a miscalculation in the above)
