Cameleon 1.3 brings retouching tools, a new layers panel and a manual three times as long.

What’s new

• Keyboard shortcuts you can change, with two ready sets: Cameleon’s own, with its Amiga roots (Amiga + letter for commands, single letters for tools), and Photoshop’s.
• Healing Brush, Spot Healing Brush and Sponge.
• A Filter menu with blur, sharpen, distort, stylize and render effects; colour corrections under Image > Adjustments.
• A Photoshop-style Layers panel: eye, thumbnails, masks, padlock, Fill next to Opacity, renaming in place and drag-to-reorder.
• Painting on a layer mask with every tool; layer groups, adjustment layers, layer styles, paths and warp.
• Layered PSD import and export.
• Guides dragged from the rulers, with snapping selections.
• A one-window layout as the default: options bar, tools, pictures as tabs and the panels.
• Undo for whole-document changes: layers, Paste, Crop, Canvas Size, Image Size, turns, flips and Free Transform.
• Rotate and Flip of the whole picture work on MorphOS; text layers are saved and reopen as text; typing in text layers is fixed.
• Black & White with a slider per colour range, and a Hex field in the Color panel.
• An HTML manual in eight languages with the step-by-step “Starry Night” tutorial; the interface in the seven languages of the website.
