What will you be "exhibiting"?
Are you going to show your MorphOS computer(s) running some new, never been seen before software for MorphOS?
Sounds like a great event, wish I could attend.
Trevor had suggested that I not buy my X1000 and wait for the X5000, when I told him of my plans to buy it, but I didn't know then that MorphOS would be ported to one of the two systems, and not the other, so I decided not to wait for the X5000 and bought my X1000 against his advice.
I don't regret my purchase decisions, but do have a small regret that I won't be able to dual boot MorphOS and AmigaOS4.x on the same machine. Since I have plenty of other MorphOS capable systems, it really does not matter though, and I believe that my dual 2.7GHz G5 PowerMac will probably run MorphOS just as well, if not better, than the X5000, or if the X5000 does have a performance edge over the 2.7GHz G5, it will not be hugely faster. Being an Amiga collector is a hard addiction to get over and cure yourself from. That is the strongest reason why I feel a desire to own an X5000, but I have been getting much better about NOT buying more Amiga systems and miscellaneous gear that I don't need the past several years, and have even sold half of my collection during that time.
I hope there will be good coverage of this event with videos and audio recordings, plus the usual interviews in some of the Amiga magazines that are still being printed.
MorphOS - The best Next Gen Amiga choice.
