    What about G5?
My understanding is that G5 pci pci-x slots are not working right now, so will this work on G5?

PCI cards will not work yet but my question is - why to bother with PCI Sata controller while G5 has built-in SATA?

Maybe because this is a full SATA II and maybe because G4/Pegasos models have no SATA onboard. I purchased a 500 GB SATA 300 hard disk for my G5 and I had to use the jumper settings to switch transfer speed to 1.5 gb/sec as the hard disk wasn't found at full 3gb/sec. Anyway, I guess I will buy a 4 SATA ports card for my Quicksilver G4 since I found one not so much expensive.

I know G5 doesn't support the PCI slots yet, but when it does will this card be faster than the on-board SATA?

Not sure what's wrong at this point I have the ULsats2.device in DEVS:
I have a Pegasos II system running MorphOS 3.3
Using Scout I tried to find the it in devices. It's not seeing it..
I have a Promise SATA300 TX2 plus pci controller card plugged as well.
