Posted By: Simon. on 2010/11/11 8:32:40
Just to make sure you do not forget:  In a few days it's time again for a Belgian Amiga Club meeting... we don't really have plan this time but rest assured that there will be something to see for everyone. We will have a visitor that brings his new IMICA running Aros, classics from the Amiga 500 upto A1200 with PPC, Emulation and ofcours various machines running OS4.x ...

And last but not least there will be various Powermacs and Macminis running MorphOS 2.x  ...

You are welcome with your Amiga or without it... and the only thing that will cost you money is the booze.

Our address:

John Tulpinckstraat 15
2070 Zwijndrecht
Belgium

And your welcome Saturday evening from 18:00 till at least 24:00 but probably a lot later.

Any new MorphOS, AROS, or AmigaOS related software or hardware shown at the Belgian Amiga Club Meeting?

How many people attended the show? Any pictures of the show?

Thanks in advance for any info or pics.

to early for the pics ... Golem showed us Wolfenstein on his Macmini, works great. I sold my spare Quiksilver to a friend, so probably a license will come out of it. There were 1PEG, 2 MACMINI and 4 POWERMAC ... that's a lot more compared to the past. Most of the times it was 2 PEG's maximum... so people can say what they want, mac was good move so far.

Hyperion-wise ... it seems the Belgian based company is flying around the world to show it's goodies but a Belgian usergroup isn't worth the effort. However Timothy was there as he always his.. but nothing new there.

AROS ... We had an IMICA here, very nice machine. If you want a lowcost silent x86 based machine, you might as well get that one and support some Amiga-like development in the process doing it.

IF you are on facebook, you could find us there and pics will be uploaded there tomorrow from various sources

    And now it's bedtime ;-)
