Uhm, I doubt this year there will be something interesting for the MorphOS users around... For this reason I think I'll won't go (and I have been to 10 of the previous 11 editions...).
To be honest I also doubt the organizers are seriously interested in having something MorphOS related on show at all...

To be precise it is me who posted the news, and I clearly wrote in the news that we italian MorphOS user want badly to be represented by Genesi and/or MorphOS team, beacuse there was no official representing of MorphOS in last two or three years at pianeta Amiga.

In the last years we are just represented by Guruman, and he is a private user...

He is not obliged to represent an entire Operating System and an entire Platform paying all by himself the journey, the transport of his machine, and spend the money for the night in hotel...

He made all this effort in last years beacuse he believe in MorphOS and he is a true supporter of our system...

But he is not entitled to spend his own money and occupy his precious time to being the only one representative of MorphOS at Pianeta Amiga.

I am sure I am talking for all morphOS users in Italy when I say frankly that we feel abandoned to ourselves...

We want offical representatives of genesi/MorphOS team here in Italy...

And Italy in the past was one of the biggest Amiga markets worldwide...

Miky '060 was capable to sold many Pegasos here, and if only he had more support by Genesi and MorphOS Team he could had sold more...

So we had had overcome the number of installed AmigaONEs in Italy. (I think we are almost at a stall here)

I think the organization in Pianeta Amiga will be happy to see MorphOS and Pegasos too...

At least this will make the Pianeta Amiga show more interesting, full of products and attractive for public.

None is interested to see his show DESERTED by public due to shortage of resellers and/or platforms shown...

it is their interest to see the more platforms, the merrier...

Why do you think they are not interested in MorphOS?

And even if Pianeta Amiga crew members are not interested, how do you think it could be visible our platform to the public?

It is the public that decide what to buy...

And perhaps what do you think that italian Amigans could buy? No any hadware + AmigaOS 4.0/4.1? Or Pegasos 8610/Efika 5121 + MorphOS?

And what system to choose, if MorphOS will be not present at the show?

I dunno why Genesi organizes Exhibits in Chelm and Prague (with all the respect for these places) and abandoned completely Italy that could had being a market 40 times bigger if only they had supported Italian Amigans (once upon a time we were 500.000 Amigans, and still there are people -almost 100, or 150- who had bought a complete modern Amiga-like system but they couldn't because they know nothing of actual Amiga situation and market), and also I wonder why Genesi decided not to be present at italian exhibits.

First of all, it has never been a sacrifice to present MorphOS at some shows. It has always been a pleasure, instead, otherwise I wouldn't have done it.
Of course I'd like to be there as a simple visitor, like I used to be years ago, and still find something about what I'm most interested in these days.

About the organizers' will and Genesi, I'll be short.

Why do you think after a user (not the organizers) contacted Genesi and Genesi showed some interest in organizing a PowerDev Meeting, sending demo machines and possibly even a representative, talks haven't got any further?
Do your maths, I have done mine. And decided not to be there this year.
