Surrounded by a team of  specialists and partners of this community, we will seize the rare opportunity to present the full range of new Amiga and Amiga-like systems to many important representatives of the professional IT world and the general public at our booth. We plan to showcase AmigaOS 4.1 by Hyperion Entertainment, the new motherboards SAM440ep/SAM440ep-FLEX and Minimig by ACube Systems, MorphOS 2.0 on the Pegasos I / II and EFIKA by the MorphOS Team and Genesi, but also Amiga Classic and UAE-based emulation for a flair of nostalgia.

RMS Communications will be also at our sides to present its ERP application based on MUIBase.

Furthemore, we would like to highlight two conferences. Their tentative topics are "AmigaOS4 - presentation of the alternative AmigaOS4 system and the new SAM440ep motherboard" and "MorphOS2 - presentation of the alternative MorphOS2 system on the mini PowerPC motherboards Pegasos & EFIKA".

Last year's Colmar Multimedia EXPO 2007 had nearly 10.000 visitors and hosted more than 50 exhibitors on 3650 square meters during its three-day run. It was a very successful premiere for an event of this type. For comparison, the long-running Apple Expo in Paris welcomes on average 50.000 visitors during a total of 5 days. At the current rate of reservations for professional booths, the 2008 edition of  the Colmar Multimedia EXPO looks to become even more successful. An added benefit is that Colmar is situated in the middle of touristically and economically attractive Alsace, close to the border lines of France, Germany and Switzerland.

This event is a unique opportunity for the "Amiga" alternatives to regain the awareness among IT professionals and to surprise and be discovered by the public. Therefore, do not hesitate to meet us if you walk on the road of the Alsace Wines this autumn !
