Archive : : muigfx.lib reimplementation (for use with Voyager)
Posted By: ASiegel. on 2007/9/10 5:48:15
"muigfx.library" has been removed from MUI beta distributions, thus preventing the Voyager web brower to run. Nicolas 'Henes' Sallin recently reimplemented the library in order to fix this problem.

Download muigfx.lha v1.0 (2,3 kB).

How pointless. Couldn't we all concentrate on Sputnik or something (MorphOS release, perhaps?) rather than reimplement dead MUI components for dead MUI browsers?

Lets make a deal: you concentrate on what you want (like porting mesa) and I enjoy using V.

Yet Voyager was once part of the MorphOS distribution - so it's only fair to support it.

Sadly we can't do much about it being discontinued.

Any chances for fixed V (muimaster hits)? Voyager is much faster than AWeb. IBrowse suxx (I hate it! :-) ). Sputnik is nice but still needs some improvments.

While i hate to agree with Neko due to the totalitarian nature of his comment he is right on the principal of the matter. focusing on what will be our future should be key. not so much so that we pull an amiga .inc and never truely release the product (that would be to far out in the future, duke numek forever) but to the point where we recognize what will be the new V. that being said in reference to the amiga web browsing standard as most people see it (AWeb and IBrowse kinda fall short of first place when you htnk back most times.)

I wish Sputnik th ebest of luck. :)
