Archive : : New Patch For Desert Racing Released
Posted By: AndreasM. on 2007/4/23 19:26:24
Recently a new patch for Desert Racing has been put online.

The game should run faster now and we hope that different problems could be eliminated.

The 3rd patch for the demo of Desert Racing can be downloaded directly from the support page.

The patch for the full version is only available directly via email (because of personalization) from Andreas@apc-tcp.de .

    And is there interrest from your side, if a developer with MorphOS programming experience would like to help with that? (Strictly playing a what-if-game for now.)

    (BTW, IIRC previous version of the game didn't work on anything but true Amiga hardware, because it bangs CIA directly, or so.)

    when a good MOS developer can make this, we can talk for this every time. but we cant help coding the MOS version. No Developer and no Time :/

    the same as all our other products, example Flyin High.

    @AndreasM

    When people come to MorphZone and see a news item like this, they expect that the software mentioned will *actually* run on MorphOS. I feel that as news moderator, we probably should not add these kinds of announcements as it will be confusing to MorphOS users.

    If you would like to ask for some help in porting, a volunteer, etc, this would be fine.

    By the way, is this the same Ralph that codes MorphOS or someone else? :-?

    Are we sure it doesn't run on MOS? The webpage doesn't say AGA-only it says it works with AGA or gfx card "sollte in Ihrer Freundin ein AGA-Chipsatz, bzw. eine Grafikarte werkeln." A lot of programs for gfx cards work under MOS.

    Actually even some hardware-banging AGA-demos do.

    i've tried the demo on MorphOS, and it didn't work. It came till the loading screen, and then MorphOS hangs.
