Since my G5 had some settings corruption the other day and had to be reinstalled, I started to wonder how to best transfer settings (MUI for example) from one computer to another (in this case: from a Powerbook to a Powermac G5).

Can I just copy the settings between the computers using a USB stick? If yes, where can I find these settings?

Ok, now I have another question: which settings are OK to transfer (considering that they are different computer types) and which should I leave alone?
