Newbie question here, sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere.
I have a powerbook 5,7 and just installed morphos 3.2 cause I understand it added wifi support, but is the internal wifi card of the powerbook supported? i was not able to add it as a device. if i have to get a third party one, is there a list somewhere of supported devices ?

    thanks for any help :-o

Any Atheros 5000 based PCCard should work. I have a Netgear Wg511T and it works a treat at 108Mbps.

    See this thread for more.

That was a good bargain! :)

I got mine free with a Netgear router years ago (2005/6 maybe) and haven't had any use for it until now.

    Hi! I have a 5.6 powerbook with morphos 3.5 and a netgear wl511t.
I was able to connect to a g wlan with wpa2, the semaphore goes green.
But there was no way to connect to any site: "Error 6: Couldn't resolve host name"
I had to change from dhcp to static ip (i have dhcp enabled and all tablets, smartphones and laptops in my house use dhcp) and it all worked fine.

DHCP has the tendency ton work when there is a reboot between setup and 1st use.

Atleast thats the experience I make when I add a new WLAN to the list (known WLANs connect out of the box).
