Depending on what you compile, you might need a bigger ixemul stack sometimes (that's especially true for configure scripts).

Type in a shell : setenv save IXPPCSTACK 1000000 and see if it helps.

Looks like i edited your message instead of answering it. I'm sorry. Can you rewrite it, in case my solution doesn't help?

I installed the latest MorphOS SDK, but now every time I boot my MorphOS computer, I get a window asking me to assign "gs".

Is anyone else having this problem? What directory, or device do I assign this to and how can I permanently get this assigned, so I don't need to do it at each boot?

Do I need to delete all SDK files and re-install everything?

    Thanks for any help.

Do you have this directory "sys:Applications/Ghostscript"?
In that case you can add "assign <>NIL: GS: sys:Applications/Ghostscript" in s:user-startup
But I guess your Ghostscript installation may be corrupt or missing.
Use Geit's excellent Grunch application and just install Ghostscript.

Thanks Dake, I should have thought of that myself. I'll use Grunch to install, or update Ghostscript. Maybe I will uninstall first then re-install using Grunch.

Grunch is a life saver for idiots like me.
