Now either:

1. You locate the Pagestream installer script, right-click on it and choose "Open with" providing a path to the 68k installer

or

2. Right-click on installation icon choose "Information" and change "Default tool" to the 68k installer path.

The latter won't work if your adf image is "write protected" (You won't be able to change "Default tool")

That may very well be. I wasn't aware of this software existing, thanks. And let's see if he will give a clarification.

Have you tried running it on MorphOS?

Yeah I was talking about Visionary by Pega1 the morphos tv card program.

Games: I was pretty amazed when I found out by chance that Megaball AGA runs on Morphos! Sound and graphics are perfect, of course the picture is a little bit small, depending to your monitor and resolution. Nothing special installed, just Morphos out of the box.

Turbocalc 5 - seems to work perfectly (so far), however:

1) Drop-down menus don't seem to work with a RMB click (or hold).
The 'launch menus' keyboard shortcut does, however, activate the menus.
By default this is RAmiga+Space. To reconfigure, go to Settings>System>iControl>Hotkeys>Menu: Launch menus.

2) Importing Excel files (.xls) does work, however import appears to be limited to Excel 95 versions of files. To import a file into turbocalc saved in Excel 97-2003 (.xls) or Excel 2007+ (.xlsx), it must be saved (using MS Excel) selecting .xls (Excel 95) compatibility from the filetype options.

I'm pretty damn happy to finally get Turbocalc working properly - both of the above issues have taken a while to figure out.
An intuitive (familiar formulas, operators, macros) spreadsheet is a vital tool for me - more so than a .doc comaptible word processor. Also, xls import is a major bonus.

Whimsical aside: Sigh.. I do wish someone with deep pockets would buy out the rights to Digita's Amiga Office software (Wordworth, Turbocalc) - just add .doc/x, .xls/x, (and open equivalents) import/export, and most of the work is done in creating a fantastic office package compatible with all Amiga flavours.

I don't think TurboCalc is or was a Digita product.

Whatever these roles imply in this particular case, it may seem that Digita was the sole publisher while there were various national distributors. But taking "in English" into account, it may as well be that regarding TurboCalc, Digita was for the English speaking countries what Schatztruhe was for Germany and NonSoloSoft for Italy, meaning that the terms "publisher" and "distributor" would be interchangeable here.

Fully agreed, as he would have the source code (and the rights to it).

Turbocalc is written in Assembler and hence probably rather difficult to develelop further. It's 300.000 lines of code with sparse comments.

True. But if you have a look you'll see that I wrote that back in April 2011 when the AROS Kickstart reimplementation wasn't really usable yet.

There was a remarkable incident in 2007 when Hyperion's managing partner Evert Carton "continued to generate controversy by stating under oath that the open-source AmigaOS reimplementation AROS was "probably illegal"" but according to some AROS developer this isn't anything to worry about:

I installed PageStream 4 from the download from PageStream.org but after the installation the program fails to initiate now, and it is even shown as FROZEN in the task manager, as is BME when I try to run that as well. However PageLiner runs OK, though I don't have much use for it.

I seem to remember I got PageStream 4 to run initially when I installed it once, on my first installation of MorphOS, prior to installing the Ultimate MorphOS CD, but now on my 2nd install it fails as described.

Not that I am saying that the Ultimate CD is the problem or some conflict it creates with one of the many programs it installs, as on my 2nd FULL install of MorphOS I installed PageStream 4 before I installed The Ultimate MorphOS CD

I'm running MorphOS 3 on a Mini Mac 1.5GHz

Anyone else got PageStream 4 working OK on their setup - whatever that might be, which of course would be of interest, as it may be some specifics of the hardware that is the issue here.
