I found some problems with hdconfig and my 2TB drive which I mentioned on #morphos a few months back but I didn't make a formal bug report so I don't know whether the relevant developer(s) is aware.

I use 1TB external drives (1x1TB and 2x500GB) with MorphOS without problem.

The drive is connected with USB 2.0 and formated with FAT32L.

It's very likely that current 2.x hdconfig can run into problems with 2TB drives because of some overflow problems. Maybe manual insertion of cylinders "could" work. Our MorphOS 3.x tree has some 64bit extended hdconfig which isn't completed yet to avoid such kinda problems but there is the general >2TB OS Mount/Filesystem problem which isn't resolved yet.
