    Hello,

    Anybody know this ???

    Because i got a lot of GFX Demo's (MAWI/Encore)
and they are PPC/WarpOS, but most of them
come with a window open and says:
"This demo needs Warp3D 4.2 version or newer"
    :-x

    Well, Goa emulates Warp3D V4.2.

It's hard to know what the reason is without further info, the only thing I can think of right now is that you're using a graphicscard which doesn't have 3D support in MorphOS yet -- which one are you using ?

Mmm, if you could tell me the name of the demo, and where to download it, I could try it out here and see if it works.

This demo uses a shell script as a launcher.
Edit it and you will notice it checks if there are some specific
files at some specific place on your disc.

Checking for files this way is completly dumb and can fail... as you see :)

It's completly irrelevant with Warp3D version emulated by MorphOS.
All these checks should be done inside the demo executable, using
standard OpenLibrary() call. There is no other system compliant way.

So disable the dumb lines with the library check with ';' before the centice

Another W3D question, would W3d work with
non Voodoo gfx board and the W3d CPU driver
    installed ? (Aminet)

Sorry, there was a real problem. It's fixed for next release :)
Anyway, this check is ugly. It would fail if a file was now resident
(or was using some .elf extension).
