For ages now I am trying to locate an Apple PowerBook. It seems almost impossible for me to track down an item with the specs I am looking for in my local country or even ebay. Perhaps I do not know where to search, so any guideline would be great or even better would be an offer for an item's sale. Everything that I have found so far has at least one problem -no working airpoart or some scratches) or it is with lower specs (15'' monitor, or it runs at 1.33ghz).... So please take a look at what I am searching for and help me to track down one.

    I can take offers.

Want to buy an Apple PowerBook G4. Should be in excellent condition (no scratches etc and of course no hardware problems):

    PowerBook G4 / PowerPC (G4) 1.67GHz. (Aluminum)
    Monitor 17''
    2GB - DDR2 RAM
Hard Disk 120 Giga or better.
    Radeon 9700 128MB HiRes
    Bluetooth,
    Airport Extreme,
    SuperDrive

PM or email at indierock3 [AT] gmail [DOT] com

    I am from Greece.

    I can paypal.

    Best

    Chris

ps it would be ok for me if it comes with 1giga or ram or with smaller HD.

If you want to buy such to run MorphOS on it, better hold on! The MorphOS-Team still clearly suggests yet to not go out and buy a Pb with the intention to run MorphOS on it. While it is likely that it will happen some day, it will not happen "tomorrow". Have patience and keep the faith!

I want an Apple latop anyway and i think a pb 17' would be the best choice for the money i have to spent. you see i do not have to spend 1500-2000 euros for a new intel mac.

so I am stuck into pb hoping to find an affortable 17'' laptop that i could use for everyday stuff under macos and linux, watch my dvds and listen to music at it. When the magic day of MorphOs support would come I will be the first to try it, but it is not the only reason for me.

They are great laptops. I use my PB 15" 1.67ghz 2GB all the time and find it a very nippy machine, fast and smooth. Only complaint is they often suffer from poor Wifi range.
