Looks good and fast, but hard to control ?

Because one hand camera one hand keyboard (arrow keys + a + s ) :) i haven't tripod

I Play and use FPSE on my MacMini 1.5GHz and 64MB VRam. GrandTurismo 1 and 2, ColinMcRae2.0, SoulBlade have nice play speed. Tekken3 is litle bit to slow.
I play in this games from CD and on window (not full screen). I didnt try play from ISO.
I found Tekken3 ISO 40mb and work nicer...

Should I give it a shot then? It's been sitting on my hd for better part of a year now, and is it straight forward?

Nice performance. Is OS4emu still required? I briefly tried FPSE long ago, and only AmigaOS4 version was available. Gran Turismo 1 was almost playable on my G3 600 Mhz Pegasos 1.

But... Am I missing something, or this can't be legal in any way?

I love playing Kula World which even works fine on Efika.

Emulation is only illegal when you are using an illegal copy of the game. In some countries it's also illegal to hack a copy protection even if you own the game.

For the most games the second is not big deal, as there are only a few games having a copy protection. E.g. Ape Escape, Crash Team Racing.

Yeah!! Fpse is 4 MorphOS and as it supports hardware rendering it's really an amazing piece of software!! I played Medal of Honor 1 under it and even on my g3/600,256 mb ram and radeon9250SE it is perfect,smooth and fast! This game,although quite old one, is REALLY worth it,excellent atmosphere!! I've even bought the original from a sale,created an iso image and playing it from it as it is very fast and comfortable...

But how to play games via joypad. I play all games for MAME, SNES, UAE with joypad, only I can't use joypad in FPSE. I try with Posedion but without any luck.
Version for 68k/OS4 have some plug-in for joypad.

A joypad with be nice , especially because I have soem Playstation Joypad Replica for USB.

Gran Turismo 5 is on my shoppinglist for christmas... I won't hold my breath for the release though :)

Ok, i download and try it now. WIth original cd game Medievil.. It reads cd fine.. But doesnt start the game, how to make iso file in morphos ?

--- Btw. have added Bios file. And when i click: Start CD , the menu pops away but just return one second after. Need to select cd drive ? I only have one (mac mini).

Ahh thanks alot, now i got all configured and it finds the cdrom and starts loading!!! But my cddrive in my mac mini acts very strange.. Locks up all system, i need to try tomorrow with an external drive ..

@kriz. I had same problem. I was very mad and sad but I found problem on Polish PPA forum here:

Just unpack. Insert CD with game in cd/dvd-cdrom and click START CD ! It work !

is there a way to configure joypad emul. I tried joyai.dll plugin but got an error cant find plugin and ambient pop up error illegal instruction 68k exception in task

seems only the directional pad was emulated still have to key a for triangle and s for the x so on[asdf ect]

You can map each joypad event to keyboard ones with Poseidon.

BTW, it would be great if Amidog released a new version with some small issues an compatibility fixes. (Or if someone could port ePSXe or PCSX...)

PS: I'm a massive FPSE player but couldn't try it on macmini/2.6 yet. Just can't wait

unfortunately, this doesn't help, as my controllers were already configured for mame. The link on Obligment doesn't tell me how to configure the psx ox/_\ [] buttons to work (assign) on my joypad (logitech) I get directionals and a help 3 button I think, but nothing else. the .iff image included on macjoy has the rawkey decimals codes, but again not sure how to impliment that.
