    You already know the answer to your question:

    https://morph.zone/modules/newbb_plus/viewtopic.php?topic_id=7243&forum=3#74885

    According to pega-1, "several" means "at least four":

    http://www.pegasosforum.de/viewtopic.php?p=44766#44766 (German)

    My guess: RSchmidt/laire, pega-1/cyfm, tokai and ASiegel/JoBBo :-)

    One out of four. Not a particularily good guess :-)

    Oh well, I'll better refrain from further guesses then ;-)

    Edit:

    I try once more: geit, pega-1/cyfm, tokai and ASiegel/JoBBo. Now 2 out of 4? :-)

    I doubt we're going to get anything out of these tight lipped guys. We're just going to have to wait till tomorrow to find out what they demo.
    Personally, I'd love to hear about some new developments, but even if they only demo current MorphOS hardware and software that's still a good thing.
    I see more interest in MorphOS on Amiga sites like amiga.org than any other alternate OS.
    Just getting out and promoting the OS will be great exposure for an OS that seems to be attracting increased attention.

    Absolutely! It seems like there's a lot of misinformation about MorphOS, but once an Amiga user tries it they seem to be uniformly impressed.

    The MorphOS team almost seems timid about promoting its product, while Hyperion, Acube, and A-eon maintain high visibility.

    That's why I don't care if nothing new shows up at Essen. What the team already has up and running is pretty impressive. They just do not promote it enough.

    I'd love to see a Mac Mini set up and compared to an X1000. In its current state of development, A-eon system would get trounced by MorphOS.

    Yes, could be. I limited my (uneducated) guesses to Germans. But you are right, not all attending MorphOS Team members would have to be Germans. Let's see :-)

    Jim: very true mate. Take a look on videos which Clusteruk made (Stephen). Ppl at other forums seen MorphOS on videos for a first time at all even that we already had great MorphOS introduction made by JVP.

    We need this kind of ppl as Stephen, promoting our system in great professional way.

    Personally, if there are any US East Coast Amiga events, I wouldn't mind bringing a system to demo.
    I think many Amigans think development stopped with the end of 68K based Amiga production. They don't think of PPC based systems as true Amigas.
    MorphOS, designed to run on PPC enhanced Amigas originally, is actually just a logical continuation of the development of those enhancements.
    Once Amigans see Amiga titles originally designed to run on PPC equipped Amigas and a host of new MorphOS specific titles running under MorphOs (as well as many 68K titles) they're going to come away impressed.
    Original Amigas were good for their time, but now with better color capability, faster processors, and the ability to run modern software (like DVD playback programs) insisting on continuing to use old, retro hardware is for flat earthers.

    Will anyone (besides the developers) be in Essen Saturday to report on this?

    Yes me! And I will have the perfect view on the MorphOS-Team, as my table is opposing to them :-) Frank was already there yesterday, to see where we've placed the MorphOS team. (Yes, it will be a very good place.) I have cameras with me, I will take some photos and make a small film about the event. But please excuse that my Pegasos II will only run AmigaOS 4.1 today, as I compare it to Aros on another of my computers. I will not compare AmigaOS 4.1 to MorphOS today, at least it is the birthday-party of the Amiga. ;-)

    You were right. I spotted:

    * geit
    * pega-1/cyfm
    * bigfoot
    * one of the many Polish MorphOS Team members ;-)

    Seems my second uneducated guess came off 2/4 ;-)
