    Hi all,

Now that i can take a break for awhile from "PegXLining"

I wanted to try the new Morphos 1.4 and its warp3d support.

The only game i cant get running is shogo:demo

Does anyone have an idea why?

Can people post what games they have running full or demos

    thanks

I have all Hyperion Games(Heretic2, Shogo, Freespace and Quake2) running on my Voodoo3 in Hardware Renderer, no problems. Maybe you need the lowlevel.lib?

    Hello David,

I have glquake, descent freespace, heretic 2 demo, wipeout, all running fine. My only problem is shogo :) it doesnt start after the launcher. Do you use the RGB16BE=YES tooltype on voodoo driver ?

    Hello ThePlayer,

I dont understand why my shogo doesnt work on mos 1.4. It worked fine in softrender on mos1.3, but since I updated ....

I dont understand why shogo needs a voodoo4 driver "snoopdos" my card is a voodoo3 2000.
    In past I installed a voodoo4.

Did you do something special to run shogo? Or is it the simple installation?
Did you reinstalled an old complet Arexx, or only the arexxsys.library ?

On MOS1.3 Shogo dosen't work for me, since MOS1.4 and W3D Support it's working now. I didn't change nothing it was a simple installation. Did you use Voodoo4 under 1.3 and then switched to Voodoo3 with 1.4, or what? Maybe try it with the Voodoo4.

"Did you reinstalled an old complet Arexx, or only the arexxsys.library ?" I have copied the arexxsys.libs to MOSSYS:Libs

YES ! SO GOOD ! Shogo is running now.
    The solution ?
It was avoiding the POPUP tooltype on shogo executable ;-p
    Thank you very much McGreg

Now are working fine Shogo demo, heretic II demo, descent freespace, GlQuake and wipeout 2097 all in hardware render mode.

For me, the problem was the launcher.
The launcher seems to work , but it does not.
So, on launcher's tooltypes , you can avoid the POPUP tooltype. Then shogo runs normaly in software render. Then I could change options from shogo menus, and switch to hardware render.

Dont know if it is very important, but I have the RGB16BE=YES tooltype on my voodoo3 driver in sys:morphos/devs/monitors/

    Shogo is very very funy
    :-P :-P

    Ill try that at Home,

But did any of you encounter slow downs in rendering with wipeout in any other level but the first one (easy). ?

    Felix.

    Hi serge,

I set the voodoo3 monitor settings to rgb16BE=yes, still no change

Unset the popup in the launcher tooltype, still shogo doesnt load.

Im using the demo from AMiga active CD

Where did you get the demo from?

Another thing i 've notice is that the hardware renderer comes up with
    no screenmodes?

@ Magnetic: Quake2 worked for me with 1.3 and 1.4 and Hardrender support without problems. I had only one chrash when i started Shogo first time after upgrade to MOS1.4.
Now i' ve got a litle problem with Quake2, i have to set Hardrender manualy in Quake2 evry time.
