I registered yesterday after lunch and had my key by early evening. 1,25 GHz Mini here. Everything runs fine except for the networking :-)

Why in the email confirming the payment says: "MorphOS 2.0 Software License"? Isn't mac mini version 2.4?
    Thanks!

That licence would work for any 2.x version of MorphOS, but since only 2.4 supports the Mini it's quite reduntant.

The process of registering and paying for licenses is all automated (AFAIK), except for the last step where you are sent the key I think and that might also be partly automated with a standard message that was written long ago when MOS2.0 was released.

Glad to see more people registering for their MacMini's. With some of the recent discussions about pricing I was afraid that it was causing too many people to wait and some were actually claiming that they were leaving MorphOS completely because of the pricing policies.

That is a real shame, as MorphOS2.4 on the MacMini is just brilliant and I can't wait to see it running on a 1.67GHz PowerBook some day in the future. I'll have to buy my third license then.

One of the reasons i had for registering was the response of the os and the overall impression it gave me after tried it. It's simply an awesome work.

Yes, it really is great running on faster hardware, isn't it? I think all the hard work on MorphOS over the past ten years is beginning to pay off, by that I mean that MOS2.4 is a very nice looking and well functioning OS that is "Lightning" fast on the G4 MacMini.

I hope it will get the recognition that it deserves and an increased user base and developers to write more software and drivers for it.

It is getting closer to being able to be used as a primary OS, each new release is a step in that direction and now that we have OWB, it is even closer.

These discussions have been fruitful obviously. There's a temporary 26% discount.

Edit: Ah, old thread pushed by pampers. And Zylesea beat me to it. Should slap myself ;-)
