Okay... not everyone has the chance to try out MorphOS 2.0 (usually because of not having the right hardware yet). For this people screenshots can be quite informative and enjoyable.

So if you uploaded some MorphOS 2.0 screenshots or videos somethere then please post the links here (this also can be a link to another MorphOS Thread f.ex.), so we have a nice collection at a single place. :)

    50++ Screenshots from myself:

    nice shots!
I won't post mine , as I like the default appearance LOL

ps. that annoying mixer must have a better option to hide it, or better yet an option to go to the titlebar, like windows/linux mixers

You can hide the icon of the mixer: just open it, open its MUI prefs and from the Window tab uncheck the Show icon on desktop option.

You can make the interface appear again at any time by selecting Exchange from the Ambient menu.

    Kind regards,
    Andrea

Awesome, thanks for the screenshots and the vid. I am now as keen as ever to get MOS2.0

Am I better off getting a Peg or just an Efika?

    VERY nice video!

I love the window "tricks" in MOS2 (shadows, transparency, etc.).

Depends on your usage needs. If you are just playing around here and there, Efika is a cool thing. However, if you plan on using it as a desktop system i'd go with Peg1 or 2

Ok, with CLI interface is even easier. SGrab RAM:your_file and then press ctrl+tab. Delay parameter can be handy too.

    yeah, great info :D

But i allways have the problem of getting black screens and black windows when running mame or video etc.
    Every screengrab the same, why?
How can i get that to be seen ?

    Xzlt,

if you're running mame, mplayer or anything else in overlay mode, then the actual video data is stored in another place (in a different format) in video ram and is just not accessible by ordinary grabber tools.

If you really want to make a screenshot, run these applications in non-overlay mode (which is possible for mame & mplayer at least).

@ Fab: Would it be possible to write a grabber tool that could grab the overlay information?

    @ Charvel:

    courtesy of Amigazeux :-)

http://amigazeux.net/clonck/ for the high configurable clock

http://amigazeux.net/april/ for the full customizable calendar.

I'm using the previous version of April because the last one start the week days with "Sunday"...
I don't know why (read the locale? In my time settings week starts from "Sunday). But for the rest it works great!
A little curiosity: the previous version is v1.61 (23.04.05) and the last is v1.291 (09.08.06)....
and none of them recognize the italian catalog I did... :-)
