    Easter is almost here gentlemen...

The question remains what will come first the SECOND COMING OF CHRIST or MORPHOS 2?

How many of this seriously superfluous threads you still want to start? Didn't you learned from last time when I closed your other thread?

There is a very big thread (which *you* started too) discussing the topic already and its quite constantly on the frontpage too, so noone can really miss it.

Unless your agenda is to demotivate the few remaining users who still wait patientingly for the release, annoy the remaining developers and stir up useless trouble.

So again: What is your freaking motivation for posting such threads tons of times? You really should be old enough that you could understand that this is contra-productive and helps noone... just the opposite.

First of all, take your ego back a little bit for a change. IT WAS A JOKE.

And why do I start these threads because its been YEARS since the last release with no real info. Plain and simple. You can keep deleting threads, and we will turn into aw.net.

If Jesus needed three days to come back to life, will MorphOS need two weeks?
But what if all this would be fantasy (there are different religions, you know): would it mean MorphOS 2 will not come?
    OMFG!

    2. Church of Amiga

The MorphOS developers have already released it - to themselves. Just because there's some falling out between the Grand MorphOS Poohbar and Genesi it is acceptable to alienate all those who dare to use Genesi hardware? Nevermind that the devs use the exact same hardware - that doesn't make them traitors. They must have gotten some special dispensation from the Grand Poohbar...

This bullshit MorphOS situation is just another shovelful of dirt on the coffin of what was once the Amiga dream.

I don't know exactly what story you read, but you're clearly misinformed. The reason for the delay is just that it's not ready yet, and not some conspiration theory.

The only reading that can be done is to read between the lines. Whatever Genesi did is in the past and unless MorphOS is going to work on someone else's hardware the continued silence and mystery (from the point of view of someone on the outside looking in) surrounding the release of MOS2 is killing this product before it even had a chance.

It would be so incredibly easy and immensly appreciated if the devs would allow those who want in to join a beta testing program. But they can't seem to get over their own contempt.

We have a betatesting program, it's just that you're not invited, if that makes us full of contempt so be it...

As a former dealer in this silly niche market I understand your frustration... However, as crazy and unconventional te MOS devs are they are actually good guys and really dont do things with any "contempt"

Ok, well maybe laire and bigfoot sometimes... lol

    :-P

What they dont understand is that the community is starved for info and at this point there seems to be NO POINT in delaying release even if its in a beta stage. The argument "we dont want to deliver a bugged product" really isnt valid anymore, as whats left of this small community is vanishing. Mos users left would be willing to purchase it in its beta state..

Welcome to CliqueOS - the OS for the chosen few! If you thought the Amiga niche market was small then you'll need your magnifying glass to spot CliqueOS.

Not only is this niche market small, it's a closed loop too. Like a nematode eating it's own tail. Or a dev with his head up his own arse.

Yeah, it definitely looks like MorphOS is dead...

Regarding the topic, Jesus came back after three days (wasn't it?). Hence he still had some followers left that was willing to pick up the work and continue the uphill struggle.

But MorphOS? Is anyone still left?

Any kind of momentum that MorphOS might have had previously is now completely removed by the complete lack of info or signs of life. Silence suffocates. MorphOS could be released in a year, or ten years, or *never* for all we know...
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

Hey guys, lets calm down for a while. I'm also impatiently waiting for MOS, but let's face the facts, we as users can't know how far the development is and what is still needed to be fixed. Morphos1.4.5 is still a good system and with all the MUI and Ambient Updates on an acceptable user level.
Man, AmigaOS4 took 6 years to be released and you're complaining about MOS2.0. I know that all those videos, pics and other stuff about MOS2.0 makes someone go crazy, but lets just wait to have a nice, stable, fast and powerful operating system. I don't want to be dissapointed and i guess this also counts for you.
