    As I saw on the website, Genesi discontinued the Pegasos platform. This means that the new MorphOS 2.0 will be run only for Efika?? :-? :-?

    If Pegasos 2 will be supported also in the future, then I must say a big "SORRY" to you guys, and recall my "Goodbye". If yes, then I will be happy to stay with MorphOS and willing to buy the new MorphOS 2.0.

    It was told several times that Morphos would be released for Pegasos 1&2 as well, which makes sense, as they are the most suitable machines for desktop use anyway. So don't worry for that.

    Fab is correct. MOS2 will run on peg1/2 . their production was discontinued because of other probs like ROHS compliance and age.

    Also, Efika is CURRENTLY the only new platform, that MOS2.0 is announced to support. That doesn't mean there couldn't be other existing / in development boards aswell.

    HA! And what these problems are, because I never heard of any problems about the Pegasos 2 board till now you mentioned. Can you be more specific?

    @Phantom

    Electronic devices sold in the EU these days *must* be RoHS compliant. It's an environment thing. The Efika is RoHS compliant (and all new devices from Genesi will be), but the Pegasos2 wasn't and there was obviously no easy way to achieve that.
    MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
    MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

    The thing is, if an old product would need a major changes in design, it's usually a better idea to design a totally new product instead.

    Currently we have seen only Efika since Pegasos 2, but that doesn't mean it would be the only one... But as many people in amiga scene say, "better wait and see, and use what you can use now"
