Isnt it 68k program? It is also GPL'd so it could be recompiled for MorphOS overnight anyway.

Also I'm guessing Reggae support is mainly of interest to MorphOS users :)

Wow that is very cool. Reggae being built into MOS is excellent and looks like Amigift beta runs ok with it!

I'm using it as a GUI for giftd on my Debian server. It works great, no troubles at all. I gave up torrents and p2p on MorphOS a long time ago.

I really recomend running a Linux server for p2p/torrents. Using an "ustable" (=vulnerable to unstable/buggy programs) system like MorphOS as a leeching slave is a bad idea anyway, as most users experiment a lot and will need frequent reboots. A 500mhz class PC can be gotten for free or dirt cheap, and is more than enough for non-desktop Linux use.

    very wise suggestion, indeed!

I can't speak for others but i'm using MOS (and for the matter Amigift) for fun, not to "make money".

And we "users" yes... we experiment a lot ... just because is funny.

I dont know about all that. MOS makes an OK p2p platform. There are many guys using MLdonkey and other p2p on MOS. Maybe they can post here?

Indeed. I doubt asking for sources helps either... thus...

I've been using the latest AmiGift P2P and it
is working except after I search I have to hit
the stop button before the list shows up.
Then if I download anything it doesn't start
the download until I hit the search and stop
buttons again. It works but kind of weird.
    Maybe it's my Peg1/April2 setup.

hence the problem is elsewhere! ;-)

as i said, i can't reproduce it here.

On MosNET, AmiTCP and MiamiDX (and on WinUAE as well)

Have you ever used the Advenced Search panel? (the one that is showed when you click on the gadget close to the Search for: string)

Look if you have some weird option enabled in Filters ... Protocol etc

then try to delete the file in ENV:Mui/giFTMui.cfg and .prefs (backup the 2 files before) and run Amigift again (you will need to reconfigure something around)

    @ Framiga

Running Amigift on MiamiDX and Peg1/April2, no Amigift key.

It works fairly good as long as I keep hitting
the search and stop buttons. It won't start
downloading until I hit one of those buttons,
then the download shows up in "transfers"
Have tried messing around with the config but
    no change.

I just tried the advanced search, same response.
I deleted the mui .cfg and .prefs
    and restarted the program again,
Still have to press the stop button
to get my list and then search/stop to
    get the transfer going.
At least it works, the old version quit
one day and that was it until now.
I am happy to see it updated.
