Yes! It looks like its time to dump MiamiDX at last! Now I just need to figure out a way to make it auto launch and not require me to do anything at all to get it online. I do this in MiamiDX, but cant seem to figure it out under MOSNet. Any ideas? Basicly I am looking to be able to set it all up, save, reboot and not see anything at all but have it online and ready to use like any modern day computer.

    In s:user-startup:

    ;BEGIN MOSNet
    Assign MOSNet: SYS:Utilities/MOSNet
    Assign LIBS: MOSNet:Libs ADD
    Path MOSNet:C ADD
    Assign MIAMI: MOSNet:Libs
    run <>nil: MOSNet:MOSNet
    ;END MOSNet

    works for me (tm) ;-)

Works great here :-). Thank you very much Sonic, I can delete MiamiDX (and some other not existing stack) completely.

great ! i tried MOSnet for the fist time and got it running within a few minutes, i totally removed miamidx now and use MOSnet :)
but i don't notice any speed improvement compared to miamidx here, on my PC i usually sdownload at 600kb/s but with MOSnet and miami i can't do better than 270Kb/s. Is there anything to tweak in this version ?

It is the same as in MiamiDX. Increase the send/recv buf sizes.

eh ok but, whats wrong to take it in "MosNET:panels/" dir insted? (as default even if i'm not using any panel).

    @SoundSquare

AFAIK max 50000 but on my system/NIC/driver (PowerUP) i get the best peformances with that values (over Internet) way over MiamiDX and AmiTCP.

Because the panels need to find the custom MOSNet miami.library (but if you want an exact answer ask Sonic) ;-)

    that is in MosNET:Libs/

Theres no diskbased miami.library in "MiamiDX:libs" (it is generated at MiamiDX launch).

and it is why i've asked :-)

So your question is: "Why doesn't MOSNet create miami.library on the fly (like MiamDX), but has a diskbased one, so it needs an assign so progs/panels can find it"? :-)

    anyway, bedtime for me ;-)

I can get only 4-6MB/s too. Tryed with wget/ppc (2-4MB/s, 100% CPU usage), ATC/68k (4-5MB/s, 50% CPU), OpusFTP (5-6MB/S, 80%). Why is so difficult to reach the whole 10.5MB/s? :D

The other thing: I have got work my Apache with 1.0, but it doesn't work with the new version. :( Tryed to replace just the executable files, and it doesn't work either. (It is running with amitcp's inetd, because I couldn't find any standalone version.)

Third: How can I use SSL with MOSNet?

1.2 goes "offline" here when downloading large files and there's no other activity, this did happen with earlier version only when using ATC. The panel shows that stack is online, but no data is transfered and programs (like YAM) do not even attemp to fetch data (do not find bsdsocket.libarary in memory or something?)
Clicking first offline and then back online in the panel fixes the situation.

Do you use a router? Back when I was using this same rtl8139 card in my A3000/mediator it did the same thing. I went through at least 15 cards since elbox told me it was the card and not thedrivers. Then someone told me to try a router and it solved the issue. I've never been online with the PEgasos without a router so I dont know if it suffers the same problem.
