    Hi,

Ambient is not displayed, only text: Quark/Openfirmware
I can with the Smartfirmware commands manualy do a boot from CD or Harddisk. Also i can view the contents of the CD/Hd. It is loaded, but failed to display the Ambient.

    what Pegasos board do you own ? Peg1 ? 2 ?

there are two boot images, one for each

    peg1 : bootpeg1.img

    peg2 : boot.img

make sure you boot on the right one.

    Hi Soundsquare,

A Pegasos II G4, tried already both boot.img. It loads, but Ambient is not displayed. A "Quark/Open firmware" appears. Manually, i can load the images from HD and CD. MorphOSBoot 1.4.5 is also used.

    Hi SoundSquare,

Allready removed PCI cards, plugs. Removed temporary the HD and CD. Maybe the bios must be flashed ? And how to do that ?

Does it allways stop, or only say 4 out of 5 times ?

Cos that what I had some time ago, and it turned out that MorohOS
didn't like my HD-setup with "holes" in the partioning.

So, try booting from CD and remove all non-essantial partitions (and
make sure that the remaining are next to another).

    Hi Kronos,

A while ago, i had the problem too. However, it starts always after some resets or booting from CD. Now, it always stops. Tried already to boot from CD (MorphOSBoot) only, with removing of the harddisk.
    No improvements..
